The reason for the business training (see KenBlue.com) is to get Christian leaders together with diplomats and business people. If these two groups can develop relationships, then the churches can do their evangelistic and relief work better.

When I return from Africa, on September 23rd, I will have a couple of weeks to prepare for Korea and Australia, where I am scheduled to conduct seminars at leadership training schools.

Please continue to pray and send money. Please pray that God would give us favor with each nation's gate keepers. Kenya and South Africa are dangerous places -- pray for our safety.

If you're interested in distributing jewelry made by the Kayamandi women in South Africa, please check out the link on this website named "Kayamandi Jewelry".

Thanks again for your support in taking the Good News to the poor -- wherever they are.

Peace and all good,
Ken

New Wine Conference

England

I've just returned from teaching at the New Wine Festival in Southern England. Occurring every summer, it is a most amazing happening. Eight thousand people attend for the first week to camp, worship God and listen to Bible teaching. The following week, they are replaced by the next eight thousand, who do it all over again.

Who are these people? Christians from the UK and Western Europe and mission leaders from around the world. They come for their own spiritual renewal and to purchase teaching resources in the form of books and tapes, which they in turn distribute and use back home.

I loved everyone that I met. Teaching God's grace to thousands of people for two weeks straight was a great joy. I am, however, most grateful for the thousands of tapes that were bought and are now being listened to all over the world. The tape people said that my morning Bible teaching on Galatians set the all time sales record for the festival. I make no money on these sales, but I get something even better. I have the satisfaction of knowing that what God gives me to say about His goodness will be heard by hundreds of thousands of people in every corner of the earth. When we began taking good news to the poor, a year ago, who would have guessed that our efforts would be so vastly multiplied by audio and video technology?

In two days, August 30th, I am off to Kenya and South Africa with Jim Shanley, Doug and Scott Wall, Emmet Blue and several other business types. We will be conducting business training seminars in both countries, as well as numerous Christian conferences.
